Two more days of my online biology course and then I’m free! Free as a bird until school starts up again the in fall. These days I feel I spend it inside the house, which I guess I don’t mind because I save gas and I have no money to spend to go out, etc. I think I should really get going on those monologues and reading the plot summaries of the plays I’m going to be auditioning for soon. Besides that, I want to finish reading the twlight series :] I have two more books before I’m down with the whole series. Hehe.
For the most part, I couldn’t really decide if I liked the book Twlight because everyone says it’s good or because I like it myself. Then again, it confuses me on how fast Bella falls in love with Edward (the vampire). It seems too much like Romeo and Juliet, in which there is also some reference of the play in the novel. In addition, I was quite upset when I finished reading it because it seemed to easy and straight out of the book where I didn’t have to think about metaphors, symbols, foreshadowing, etc. like you would in an English class. I think I liked it because when there was that thriller in the end, I had to call up my best friend and go “OMG OMG OMG OMG I”M SO SCARED BLAH BLAH BLAH.” Yea… I totally freaked out on her and she was laughing her ass off at me at the same time telling me to finish reading the book.
Never the less, I bought the whole series online yesterday, well the remaining three that I didn’t have from before. So I guess you can say I liked the book. :] The second didn’t have much thriller compared to the first one, but oh well.
This past weekend, I also saw the movie, “Mamma Mia”. So good. Loved it! The remixes of the songs were good, dancing, acting, etc. So it’s about this girl who’s going to get married, but she doesn’t know who her father is. She stole her mom’s diary, in which her mother wrote in it the year she was pregnant with her. The main girl finds out there are three possibilities: Sam, Billy, and Harry. She invites them all to her wedding without her mother knowing, and so the adventure begins. Throughout the movie, I was rooting for Harry to be her father because he seemed cool and good looking. STOP SPOILER IF YOU DONT WANT TO KNOW: It turns out that she never figures it out because she ends up bonding with all three of them and she doesn’t get married in the end. Instead, her mother gets married to one of those guys.
This makes me want to see the Broadway Musical production of it. *sigh Maybe someday when I earn some money. Other than that, it’s lunch time and Grandma is calling.
